Bologna Welcomes the Scientology Volunteer Ministers Travelling Exhibition
The Scientology Volunteer Ministers yellow tent in Bologna is presenting practical tools for helping people in everyday life, as part of a travelling programme visiting Italian cities.
The inauguration brought together around 100 participants, including representatives of communities assisted by Volunteer Ministers after natural disasters.
Among them was Pianoro Mayor Luca Vecchiettini, who spoke about the relationship established with the volunteers after severe flooding in 2024. Restaurateur Fabrizio Lazzarini also recalled the Volunteer Ministers helping his business recover after the flooding.
Andrea Ferrarini, formerly involved with civil protection in Bondeno, spoke about volunteer support given to communities affected by the 2012 earthquake.
Created in 1976 by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard, the programme offers practical tools for communication, relationships and problem-solving alongside humanitarian response.
Inside the Bologna tent, visitors can view photographs and videos documenting Volunteer Ministers activities while learning about communication, relationships, study, work eu news channel and family life.
Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to the EU, OSCE, Council of Europe and UN, described the Bologna initiative as an example of practical solidarity and civic responsibility.
